ACTIVE MEMBERSHIPThe following persons are eligible to become active members in The Swift Boat Sailors Association: 1. All persons who served in Boat Squadron One (BOATRON One); Coastal Squadron One (COSRON One); Boat Divisions 101, 102, 103, 104 and 105; Coastal Divisions 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16; or any other PCF/Swift Boat units stationed in the Republic of Vietnam. 2. Personnel assigned to units in support of Boat Squadron One; Coastal Squadron One; Boat Divisions 101, 102, 103, 104 and 105; and Coastal Divisions 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16. This includes officers and men assigned to repair ships, Naval Support Activities, APLs and United States Coast Guard Units that directly supported Swift Boats. 3. Personnel assigned to stateside units, including the Naval Inshore Operations Training Center (NIOTC), that trained crewmembers for duty on Swift Boats. 4. Family members of persons who qualify for membership under paragraphs (1), (2) and (3) above |
ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIPAssociate Membership is open to those who do not qualify for |
LENGTH OF MEMBERSHIPLength of membership in the association will be for one year |
MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION
Active Membership will be granted on verification of eligibility: Official Orders,
Form DD 214, other service records, etc OR personal verification of a least two current active
members OR pictures placing you at a Boat Squadron, a PCF Division, a Coastal Squadron or
a Coastal Division and cover the period of 1 January to 31 December of each year A subscription to The Swift Current newsletter is included with the dues |
