The 2007 Reunion Hospitality Room was located in the Paradise Cove meeting room of the Crown Plaza hotel. Just off the main lobby with its resturants and bar. Plus easy access to the veranda overlooking the palm tree planted area around the pool that could be and was used for quiet retreats to have serious and not-so-serious discussions about events from so long ago and far away

Activity in the room varied from just plain lotsa swiftmates to bordering on SRO The Hospitality Room was definitely where the action was during the reunion

Greeting old friends and shipmates, finding new ones and discovering long lost swiftmates from forty years ago were non-stop activities starting on late afternoon Wednesday and continuing on through to the very end of the reunion early Sunday morning With so many attending in San Diego, it is hard to keep up with who was where and when But the following images give just a small feel for how much this part of the reunion meant to all who were there. A large appreciation is expressed to Dave Bradley and his stalwart group of volunteers that kept the snacks, beverages and fellowship going at such a high pace for the entire three days. They truly insured that SD2007 will remain memorable to all

The Ship's Store was also open with the same hours as the Hospitality Room A complete array of Swift Boat related clothing and other items were available for purchase and the store remained very busy throughout the three days of the reunion

Around 1800 on Friday, a few pizzas showed up at the back door of the Hospitality Room The fellowship was only enhanced as sailors enjoyed great food with the tall tales And more just kept coming every fifteen minutes until well into the evening hours

The good times continued to roll on Saturday afternoon and even after the banquet

By Sunday morning ... after Midway, the biz meeting, the rush of the activities at NAB and the banquet ... the close out of the Hospitality Room left only the excellent hotel resturants as a place to retreat to and contemplate attending the next reunion in 2009
